The i-phone photos

The camera on the i-phone ain't half bad. Here are a selection of random photos from the last few weeks:

Walking in the Lake District

Sunrise over the Wharf (Canary Wharf that is)
Liverpool Cathedral yesterday - the pink writing below the window reads 'I felt you and I knew you loved me'

The Snow Day that never happened

What a fuss we British make about a little bit of snow! There were dire warnings on the news last night about the disruption that the East of England would experience this morning with 20cm of snow forecast in some parts. We saw footage of the gritters getting ready for their late night job of making the roads safe for commuters, we saw footage from February when the snow really was bad. So I was expecting to wake up this morning to at least a foot of snow. Guess what - if it snowed it melted pretty quickly. It just looks like a grey, rainy winter day. Oh well, there is more snow forecast so perhaps it will actually arrive in London next time.
