HP7
I went to see HP7 this afternoon. I was all ready for a good blub (like when I finished the last book), but the tears didn't come. I was disappointed. I left the cinema feeling a little flat, and looking forward to watching my extended Director's cut version of the Lord of the Rings again. However, the long shots of the Highlands and a quick glimpse of Battersea Power Station did make me think longingly of home.

Bertie and Lionel
We saw The King's Speech yesterday - the very moving story of King George VI and his journey to overcome his stutter. It is a great story and it has been beautifully executed. The three lead characters were fantastic and extremely believable. The very best of British cinema and a strong Oscar contender. I would highly recommend it!
